As you arrive at our base camp (9:00 AM), you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and expert guides. After a warm welcome and a brief orientation, we’ll gear up for an unforgettable day on the river. Once you board the raft, you will have a chance to soak in the serene beauty of the Salmon River Canyon and warm up to some class II rapids. As you continue downstream, keep an eye out for bald eagles, river otters, and other native wildlife that inhabit the area. Our guides will help you spot these remarkable creatures and share their insights about the local ecosystem. Midday, we’ll find a picturesque spot along the riverbank to enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared lunch. This is a time to refuel, relax, and soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you. Then take on numerous Class III rapids as our expert guides will skillfully lead you through the twists and turns of the river, ensuring a safe and exhilarating experience for all. Upon arrival at the boat ramp, typically between 3:30-4:00PM, please help your guides by stacking all life jackets, helmets, and paddles to the right of the boat ramp. You may then head up to the restrooms as the guides load the boats and gear. Plan to arrive back at the SRAC Base Camp between 4:00-4:30.
