Our half-day rafting trip is meticulously planned to ensure you have an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Your trip begins with a warm welcome from our friendly guides. They will then provide a safety briefing, make sure you’re comfortable with the equipment, and prepare you for the adventure. Once you are seated in the raft, with paddle in hand, you will navigate the iconic class I-III rapids of “The River of No Return.” Keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles soaring overhead and river otters playing in the water. The Salmon River is a haven for wildlife, and you might just witness their beauty up close. Upon arrival at the boat ramp (typically between 3:30-4:00) please help your guides by stacking all life jackets, helmets, and paddles to the right of the boat ramp. You may then head up to the restrooms as the guides load the boats and gear. Please plan to arrive back at the SRAC Base Camp between 4:00-4:30.
