WHAT YOUR TRIP WILL LOOK LIKE
First time doing a river trip, no problem! This is the trip for you! Unplug and get your nature fix on the upper stretch of the Wild and Scenic Salmon River in Idaho. This is an opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature in its purest form. This adventure is truly built for every level and ability. Choose to paddle an inflatable kayak, stand-up paddle board, or relax in the raft as our experienced guides lead you down the magical Salmon River. There will be plenty of time to take in the abundant wildlife, deep canyon gorges, and stunning scenery. Upon arrival at camp each evening, our guides will take care of the details, from loading and unloading to preparing luscious, healthy meals, so that you can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear water, painting a watercolor, reading a book, or just relaxing on the banks of the river. Being on the Salmon is a truly unique, life-changing experience! Join us for the wild journey down the magical “River of No Return.”

DAY 1
Day one begins with your arrival at our launch site, where you’ll meet your guides and get fitted with rafting gear. We’ll hand out dry bags for your personal items, go over trip logistics, and deliver a thorough safety talk to make sure everyone feels confident and prepared. Once we’re packed and ready, we’ll push off from the beach and begin our journey down the Upper Main Salmon. Expect a full day of fun on the water, with exciting rapids, scenic views, and a riverside lunch before we reach camp around 4 PM.
DAY 2
Day two is all about soaking in the beauty and adventure of the Salmon River. We’ll navigate more fun, splashy rapids and float through stunning canyons lined with granite walls and towering pines. Keep an eye out for wildlife and pictographs along the way—reminders of the river’s deep cultural history. With plenty of time to relax, swim, and explore, it’s the perfect balance of excitement and connection with the natural world.
DAY 3
On day three, we enjoy a final morning on the river—soaking up the last stretches of whitewater and scenic beauty. We’ll arrive at the boat ramp around 1:00–2:00 PM, where we’ll load up and shuttle back to camp. You’ll be reunited with your car by around 4:00 PM, wrapping up an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Salmon River Canyon
