CREATE YOUR OWN UNFORGETTABLE GROUP ADVENTURE
UNPLUG.ADVENTURE.CONNECT.GROW
At Salmon River Adventure Company, we’re excited to help you create a group retreat that’s as unique as your crew. Whether you’re planning a corporate retreat, youth trip, family reunion, or outdoor education program, we offer the flexibility to design your ideal itinerary—relaxing, adventurous, educational, or all of the above. With on-site lodging and our Eddy Café restaurant, the essentials are covered, and we’re happy to customize meals to suit your group’s needs. Spend your days whitewater rafting with our expert guides, or dive into river-running instruction with rafts, kayaks, or SUPs. Back at base camp, host meetings in the Leaning Lodge, connect on the deck, or team build on the challenge course and disc golf field. Explore nearby trails, go rock climbing, or cast a line in the river (bring your gear!). As the sun sets, gather fireside for stargazing and s’mores under Idaho’s big sky. With Starlink internet, you can stay connected—even while disconnecting. This is your wilderness retreat, and we’re here to help you make it unforgettable. Let’s start planning your group’s next great adventure.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
Your group adventure begins with arrival at base camp between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, followed by a quick orientation to get everyone settled and familiar with the space. By 5:00 PM, you’ll embark on a scenic float down the Salmon River, arriving back at camp just in time for a delicious dinner served at the Eddy Café. The evening continues with optional activities like rock climbing, volleyball, or a round of disc golf before winding down with s’mores by the campfire under a star-filled Idaho sky. Lights out by 10:00 PM ensures everyone is rested for the next day’s adventures.
On day two, start your morning with hot coffee, tea, or cocoa at 7:00 AM, followed by a hearty breakfast at 8:00 AM. The rest of the day is dedicated to a full-day whitewater rafting trip, including a riverside lunch and expert guidance through the Salmon’s iconic rapids. Prefer to focus on skills development? Groups can opt for private kayak instruction instead, learning to paddle or improve technique on both flatwater and whitewater with our experienced instructors. From here, you can build a 3- to 7-day experience tailored to your goals—mixing in more rafting, kayaking, team-building, wellness activities, or simply time to relax and connect. Evenings offer time to gather as a group, enjoy dinner at the Eddy, explore camp activities like climbing and disc golf, and close each night fireside with s’mores and conversation.
On your final morning, enjoy a peaceful start with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate at 7:00 AM, followed by breakfast at 8:00. At 9:00 AM, we’ll gather for a group debrief to reflect on the trip and celebrate the experience. Then at 10:00 AM, you’ll cross the river one last time for final departure—refreshed, connected, and ready to carry the river’s energy with you.
