We spent a weekend in September building this sweep boat/raft frame to get a tractor across the river. We figured we needed to do it this fall with the Salmon River being the lowest it has ever been. There were many discussions about how to get this done. Fortunately, it all worked like a charm! We used an 18 foot raft, built a wood deck, then attached the sweep boat tubes to the sides of the raft. We then walked it across with ropes. We are super excited to have the tractor at the camp! It will be tremendously helpful getting things cleaned up, and the garden going.
Super fun to watch your family develop the new adventure business. Keep the reports coming.
