We believe that an exceptional adventure should be all-inclusive. When you embark on a multi-day rafting trip on the Salmon River with us, you can rest assured that we’ve thought of every detail to make your experience truly unforgettable. Here’s what you can expect: 

What’s Included: 

  • Expertise and service of our expereinced trip leaders
  • All meals from lunch on Day 1 through lunch on Day 6, with limited beer and wine at camp
  • Snacks and drinks between meals
  • Expedition equipment: high-quality rafts, 2-person shared tent, personal flotation device (PFD), helmet, waterproof bags, camp chair, eating utensils, and plates
  • Transfers from Salmon to the river and from the river to McCall

What You will Need to Bring: 

  • Clothing for sun, water, and chilly evenings
  • River sandals or shoes that can get wet
  • Personal items: toiletries, medications, etc.
  • Sleeping bag (can be provided if needed)
  • Optional: fishing gear, camera (in waterproof case), and a good book

WHAT YOUR TRIP WILL LOOK LIKE

First time doing a river trip, no problem! This is the trip for you! Unplug and get your nature fix on the upper stretch of the Wild and Scenic Salmon River in Idaho. This is an opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature in its purest form. This adventure is truly built for every level and ability. Choose to paddle an inflatable kayak, stand-up paddle board, or relax in the raft as our experienced guides lead you down the magical Salmon River. There will be plenty of time to take in the abundant wildlife, deep canyon gorges, and stunning scenery. Upon arrival at camp each evening, our guides will take care of the details, from loading and unloading, to preparing luscious healthy meals, so that you can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear water, painting a watercolor, reading a book, or just relaxing on the banks of the river. Being on the Salmon, is a truly unique, life changing experience! Join us for the wild journey down the magical “River of No Return.” 

Day 1: Launch & Settle In
Meet your guides at the SRAC base camp. After a safety briefing, we hit the water! Paddle through scenic canyons, enjoy a fresh riverside lunch, and arrive at your first campsite by late afternoon. Welcome dinner by the fire.

Days 2–5: Rapids, Relaxation & Adventure
Each day brings new rapids to run, side hikes to explore, and plenty of time to swim, read, fish, or lounge in the sand. Meals are fresh, hearty, and shared family-style. Evenings are for unwinding by the campfire and sleeping under the stars.

Day 6: Final Float & Farewell
Our last morning on the water is peaceful and reflective. After one final stretch of river, we reach the take-out at Carey Creek around noon, each lunch and depart on the shuttle that brings you back to McCall by late afternoon.
