We offer instruction for paddlers at all levels — from first‑timers learning foundational strokes and river skills to more experienced paddlers refining technique on larger water. Courses generally progress through whitewater skills appropriate to your ability and comfort.

Yes — we supply all kayaking gear you’ll need for your course, including kayaks, paddles, helmets, spray skirts, and life jackets. If you prefer to bring your own gear, just let us know ahead of time.

No. All required safety equipment is provided as part of your kayaking course and included in your registration.

We recommend:

  • Quick‑dry synthetic layers (avoid cotton)
  • Secure water shoes or old sneakers
  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses with strap)
  • Weather‑appropriate outerwear
    You should also bring a towel and a change of clothes for after your session.
  • Whitewater Kayaking Courses: Typically for ages 12 and up. If you have a younger participant, contact us to discuss options.

 

  • Inflatable Kayak / SUP Instruction: Age guidelines may vary depending on water conditions — please inquire when booking.

Additionally, if you weigh more than 250 pounds, please inform us ahead of time — this helps us ensure we can provide a kayak that fits you comfortably and safely.
