Whitewater Rafting - Full day
Experience the thrilling rapids, the stunning scenery, and enjoy a healthy riverside lunch on this full day adventure down the Salmon River.
With flows that rival the Colorado River, the Salmon offers some of the best whitewater in the country. This full-day trip will start at the SRAC Base Camp, located just 13 miles West of North Fork, Idaho. At our camp, we will load up with the appropriate river equipment. Depending upon the flow, we will either launch from camp, or head a few miles downstream. The morning float consists of class I-II whitewater and we will stop for a riverside lunch before spending the afternoon running the class III rapids of the “Day Stretch.” When you aren’t getting splashed, take in the abundant wildlife, deep canyon gorges, and stunning scenery. Join us for the wild journey down the famous “River of No Return.”

The outfitter employs capable / friendly guides, uses top of the line river gear/equipment and kept our crew fed with delicious meals throughout the trip. SRAC helped with transfers to/from the put-in / takeout and made the logistics straightforward. The guides are very experienced/knowledgeable as well as upbeat and positive.
